Madden NFL 24 Week 13 Highlights of Sunday's games

The 23-year-old has had an uneven rookie year,but has struggled recently.Smith completed 9-of-18 passes for 79 yards and one interception on Sunday,but was replaced by Matt Simms.Smith has so far delivered 19 interceptions in his career,the most in the Madden NFL 24.New York,however,remains in contention for the playoffs and will apparently give him at least another chance to get back on pace.Alongside Simms,veteran David Garrard is also on the team.

There was some controversy on Sunday night as at the end of the game,a referee mistakenly signaled a first down and moved the chains.The chains were moved back the following play and it transformed into fourth down.Madden NFL 24 vice president of officiating Dean Blandino said the crew was negligent and should have stopped play to correct the problem.

"In the situation in which there is obvious confusion regarding the status of the down,the play should be stopped prior third down and the proper down should have been communicated to both teams.This would have been the case regardless of the fact that Washington had no timeouts and it took less than about two minutes."

Jay Cutler"week-to-week"
