The Dubai Watch Club (DWC) is the first enthusiasts club in the United Arab Emirates, regularly creating limited edition watches for its members. The latest is the Zenith Chronomaster Revival Dubai Watch Club, a striking new interpretation of the vintage El Primero A384.

Zenith has produced many variants of the A384 remake, but the DWC version is different, both striking and subtle.

The yellow is hard to miss, especially with the contrasting case and registers, but the Oriental Arabic numeral elements are subtle and almost invisible from a distance. It only displays unique local details up close, which gives it the appeal of an expert wholesale fashion watches.

More generally, the A384 remake on which the DWC version is based is an attractive watch in its own right, as it retains almost all the beauty of the original, including the compact case, but in a completely modern way with a titanium case. form manifested. The DWC El Primero is based on a titanium replica of the A384, and the dial is unique to the DWC version. The dial is bright yellow, while the subdials and tachymeter scale are dark gray to match the case.

Only upon closer inspection do elements of the Middle Eastern style become apparent: all numbers are in East Arabic script. This includes the tachymeter, date wheel, and even the scales on the chronograph.

The dial otherwise retains the classic A384 design, including baton hour markers and four lines of text below 12 o'clock.

The case is 37mm thick, the same as the retro original, but slightly thicker to accommodate the back of the display. Underneath the sapphire crystal caseback is the El Primero 400, a slightly modernized version of the 1969 El Primero movement but still identical to the original in all material respects.
