The very first step is to close QuickBooks windows
And then, on the server, the user needs to navigate to C:\Windows\Syswow64\drivers\etc
After that double click the hosts file and choose notepad
Enter the IP address along with the system’s name
Enter the system’s IP address and name for the server
The next step is to type the server’s IP address and the system’s name
Instead of pressing the spacebar, the user should press the tab key on the keyboard to separate the computer name and IP address
